Function and family led the design of this transitional kitchen.  It's what spurred the creative element of the island's table as a gathering spot for morning breakfasts, game nights, and time with friends.  Opening up the many walls allowed light to flood the heart of this home.  The balance of light and warmth was achieved through the pairing of white cabinets with the acacia wood tones and accents.
