To provide impeccable, appropriate designs at affordable rates, we must both have a full understanding of your vision and expectations. Collaboration can be as simple as a consultation to full interior architectural design services. You can expect the design process to have many steps:

Getting to know you and the scope of the project.

Setting a timetable for design deliverables.

Developing the concept into a set of drawings including 2D and 3D drawings.

Polishing the concept using visual design stories.

Providing a list of trades specialists and fielding design intent questions during the construction process.

Adding a few personal touches through limited furnishings and accessories selections, styling, and staging.
VISUAL DESIGN STORIES
Visual design stories are a compilation of images that denote color; texture; mood; finishes direction; and lighting, hardware, furniture and accessories selections. They are a guide to refining the vision for your project.
2D AND 3D DRAWINGS
I offer 2D and 3D drawings which are tools essential to expressing the design intent clearly between the owner, interior designer, and contractor.
RATE
I provide two rate structures depending on the size and scale of the project.
An on-site initial consultation, up to 1 1/2 hours, can be set up for a minimal fee of $99.
Hourly Rate: All work is performed on an hourly basis at the rate of $100 per hour. This rate is provided for smaller design projects where drawings are not needed or required.
Fixed Fee Rate: A fixed fee is quoted for projects where full design drawings and specifications are necessary to visualize the design. I highly recommend this option! Average costs for a kitchen design are $4,000 - $6,000 and $3,000 - $4,500 for a bathroom depending on the size and level of finishes selections and details. A discount is provided for full home designs and selections.
This process has several phases including:

An initial meeting is arranged for determining the needs, wants, and goals for the design. This includes time to obtain site measurements and pictures.

The next phase is the FUN part! I take all of the information gathered and provide TWO designs per area. The design options typically include two different layouts, aesthetics, and finishes and fixtures selections represented through a set of 2D and 3D drawings, visual design story boards, and finishes samples and selections.

To ensure the design is tailored to you, I offer one round of edits and reselections.

After gaining design approval, I create a full set of design drawings to include completed plans, elevations, perspectives, general notes, specifications, and visual design story boards which are neatly bound in a folder for easy reference by all (homeowner and contractor/s).

Once the design is complete, assistance with contractor selection, pricing, construction administration, and furnishings and accessories selections can be performed on an hourly basis.
